Entry Requirements

• *All qualifications below are compulsory, along with at least two (2) years of relevant work experience:
• Minimum 2C (GPA 2.0) in Biology and one (1) science subject
• Diploma in Allied Health Sciences/Biomedical Sciences/Medical Technology
• Minimum CGPA of 2.0 in Foundation, Minimum CGPA of 2.0, inclusive grade C (GPA 2.0) in Biology and one (1) science subject
• Minimum 5 credits (B6) inclusive Biology and one (1) science subject
• Other equivalent qualifications
• To be reviewed by the faculty on a case-to-case basis

• As the programme’s medium of instruction is English, students must possess one of the following qualifications:
• Minimum score of 154
• Minimum band of 5.0
• Minimum score of 40
• Pearson Test of English
• Minimum score of 47
• Minimum band of 3.5
• Minimum credit A2 in English
• Minimum credit B+ in English
• For Local Students
• In the event that the English language requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take the Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the programme.
• For International Students
• In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, applicant is required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the English for Tertiary Education (1 to 10 months). Students who intend to pursue the above undergraduate programme directly, are advised to fulfil the above English requirements prior to commencing their studies at the University.
• English Language Course Exemption:
• Applicants from the countries where English is the primary language may be exempted from taking English classes at UCSI University. Applicants pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degrees at other universities where English is the medium of instruction may be exempt from taking English classes at UCSI University, provided the Registrar of their alma mater issues an official letter confirming this exemption.
