Entry Requirements

i. A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) or its equivalent, with a minimum Cumulative Gred Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50, as accepted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate;

ii. A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) or its equivalent, not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant field;

iii. Other relevant qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.

Academic Requirements

English Language Requirements

As the medium of instruction for all UCSI University programmes is the English language, applicants must meet one of the following requirements for admission:

Pearson Test of English

Min 72 (1-120 scale) or min 4 (1-6 scale)

Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests

(Linguaskill Online score)

For international students, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic score of 6.0 or its equivalent is needed. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the need of the programme. This is normally conducted through an assessment process.
